Understanding Digital Billboards
The Next Generation of Outdoor Advertising
Digital Billboards
Digital bulletins are a dynamic method to deliver consumer advertising for local and national advertisers. The LED display is clear and has no glare from the reflection of light on shiny substrate materials. As a result, the message stands out better than other substrates in the environment.
Its flexibility and immediacy enable advertisers to customize their message with quick turnaround at no additional expense. Copy can be changed via personal computer in minutes rather than having to print, ship, and install materials. Advertisers can create a playlist of designs and alternate through them during their rotation. Retailers or restaurants can play different designs at different times of the day or on certain days of the week, and stop on demand.
Digital bulletins are divided into a limited number of spots, which are usually visible about once every minute. Spots are typically rented on a four-week basis but can sometimes be rented for shorter periods based on availability. Advertisers can establish a network of digital billboards to reach a broad market by selecting multiple locations in a given market.
