Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
Understanding the Billboard Rental Process
The cost depends on factors such as location, visibility, size, market, and traffic. Contact us for a list of rates and availability for our locations.
Our standard billboard size is 14 feet high by 48 feet long. However, we also offer non-standard sizes. Please reach out to us for more details.
Billboards are rented on a 4-week basis (periods). Standard contract lengths range from four to twelve periods, but shorter terms can be discussed. Rates are generally based on the available date, in addition to the other factors mentioned above. Sometimes we can put together a rotary program whereby your advertisement is moved among 4 locations during a year, subject to availability.
Our billboards are located in cities across MA, NH and RI, primarily along highways. Detailed locations can be found on the ' Browse Locations' section of our website. The locations are in two Designated Market Areas (DMA’s), Boston-Manchester, and Providence-New Bedford.
Contact us to inquire about availability. Some of our billboards are rented long-term, while others may be available soon. We usually check with existing advertisers about contract renewals 90 days in advance.
As a member of the Geopath, we conduct audits on all our billboard faces. More information is available at Geopath.org.
Yes, all our billboards are lit from half an hour before sunset until 12:30 A.M. using the latest lighting technology. This makes them highly visible at night. Lighting is monitored via satellite.
The artwork is usually provided by the advertiser or their agency about thirty days prior to the start date. Art designs are not included in the rental rate, but can be arranged for an additional fee, or referrals can be given.
Displays are made from vinyl material. This is not included in the rental rate. There's a net charge of $1.25 per square foot to produce the display. On a standard four period program, we will typically waive the cost of one print and one installation. The vinyl is durable, and can be stored for later use, or moved to other locations of the same size.
With digital billboards, the ad can be changed as frequently as needed. For traditional billboards, changes require physical replacement of the ad and can be arranged as per the terms of the contract.
For traditional billboards, only your advertisement will be displayed on the billboard. For digital bulletins, your advertisement is one of a fixed number of “spots” in rotation.
Booking time can vary depending on demand and location, with many programs booked 90-120 days prior. We recommend reaching out as early as possible to secure your preferred spot.
While billboards are typically seen by a broad range of people, location choice can help target specific demographics based on the area's population profile.
We regularly inspect our billboards and promptly repair any damage. However, severe weather or other unforeseen events may cause temporary issues.
